Author has written 1 story for Fantasy.

My name is Amanda, and I'm nineteen. I've been writing since I was thirteen, having finished my first story by fourteen. It turned out to be a five piece story...I have each piece started, but only three finished. I'll finish it someday, when I figure out a good ending. I write compulsively. Sometimes, an idea enters my mind, and I can't let it go until I write something down. I finished another book by fifteen. It has a sequel, which I am almost finished with. Again, I'm having a problem with figuring out how the ending should sound. I just recently finished a story I absolutely love, which I am currently writing the sequel to. I like to write series, because I take care to make my characters likable, so that I can use them in several stories to evolve them overall. The most frustrating thing is probably the time I was writing what I consider close to my best story ever, and my archaic computer lost it. I had spent three months working on it to get just what I wanted, and in two seconds, it was gone. Very frustrating.

In my spare time, when I'm not attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I hang out with friends, read fanfiction, write poetry, sketch, play video games and practice my guitar. I have a strange fascination with anime and Japanese music, but my first love will always be acoustic music (Death Cab for Cutie, Dashboard Confessional, Rufus Wainwright, Damien Rice, Schuyler Fisk, and Joshua Radin rock my world) and independent films. Mind you, I like the ones with depth, not just the ones where there is an egg flipping endlessly on a black and white screen while someone sits drinking coffee in the background. Those are just odd. It's like you're afraid to admit that they're rudiculous, because someone will tell you you have no depth. It really doesn't work that way.

Anyway, if you want to talk, or discuss literature, I'm all for it. I can assure you that I know my stuff. I don't get my brains gouged out two days a week in philosophy for nothing, ya know. I have a few sites here and there. In fact, I'm pretty much anywhere, so you can find me pretty easily. Just make sure to message me before adding me to anything. I like to know where people find me. You can never be too careful.
