~ The Story of Alice Faraday ~

Once upon a time, there was a little girl born by the beach under the sun. She was small, pale and had long golden hair. She loved to climb trees, explore in the tide pools and play make-believe, even though her mother said she'd easily hurt herself, for she was tiny and accident prone. But she played anyway. One day she began to grow up. She darkened her long golden hair and moved up to the mountains where she hid herself away and wrote stories all day long. Stories about the trees and the tide pools, and the heroes and monsters that lurked in the darkness.

She stumble out of her hiding place one day and decided she wanted to open her eyes up to the world, and she saw that the world was nothing like that of fairytale dreams. She saw that the world was dying. So she decided to use her pen to help save a fallen world, where bombs and tanks and industrialized nations ruled far and wide.

She broke into the new world with determined eyes, a pen, and piece of paper. She took her pen with her everywhere; to the trees and the tide pools, and to the battlefields of modern civilization...where you can sometimes find her to this day. Just a young woman with long auburn hair, living day to day in the industrial gardens of this neverland, trying to awaken the ancient spirits of a dying world.

Haiku series. Girl gets lost, guy is told, let your imagination take the ending where it belongs. The ending soon to be uploaded might not satisfy, but it only seems fit to me. It feels like microfiction to me, but I'm not sure. Chapter names are titles.
