Well, there's not a whole lot to say about myself... I'm 21. I don't think I'm really all that great of a writer but I try and I enjoy writing.

I've been writing for a long time; I remember writing stupid stories about rabbits and kitties when I was just starting school and I continued writing stories throughout my schooling - though, in my opinion, most of them were pretty lame. In high school, I spent more time writing stories during class than paying attention and doing my work - Kita was my first original story that got beyond one chapter, Vanished was the next - and finally decided to get over my fear of sharing my work with people I'm around in real life and signed up for my school's creative writing class. I got some pretty positive feedback - from people who weren't friends, therefore weren't biased - which spurred me to continue writing.

If I don't respond right away, chances are I stepped away from the computer and either forgot to turn on my away message or only intended to be gone for a second and got distracted...I sincerely apologize right now if that happens.

Stranded - This was just going to be a one-shot, but Stranded is now a series of one-shots. -PERMANENT HIATUS-

Vanished - Removed. I went back and was re-reading some of my old work. This one made me wince, repeatedly, within the first chapter alone. It's been removed for the sheer awfulness of...pretty much every part of it. I will not be continuing this one under any circumstances. I had been considering re-writing it, but I don't think that would be feasible, so its been trashed. The one-shots in Stranded are staying up, because those do not make me wince. -PERMANENT HIATUS-

Year of the Rat - This was actually going to be posted on my other account (one I created to post all my new ideas so as not to spam this account with stories that may never get past 1 or 2 chapters) but since there's a 2 day waiting period for new users before I can post (when did that come into effect?) it's going here, because I think it might actually go somewhere. - TEMPORARY/INDEFINITE HIATUS -

Yuurei no Yume -Ghost's Dream- - I wrote it for a class and didn't intend to post it, but my little Kita-muse wouldn't leave me alone...and then Hiroshi-muse and Akira-muse joined in the fun...They wouldn't let me sleep until I posted this. - COMPLETE -

Yuurei no Yume: Oni no Fukushuu -Ghost's Dream: Oni's Revenge- - Book 2 of Yuurei no Yume. Movement 4 is finally up. I will eventually get around to writing more of this - don't worry, I haven't forgotten about it! It's just a matter of getting into the right frame of mind to write this one, as I'm planning for it to be darker than my other work, and that's not a frame of mind I'm in very often. - ON-GOING -

I do not have planned days for updates; I was going to work a schedule out now that I have a sort of schedule worked out with my job but a lot of the time I do not feel like sitting still to type anymore once I'm done with work. I've been next to slammed with typing reports and I can't bring myself to type anymore once I'm done. Rather than have my writing suffer because I'm antsy to get away from the keyboard, I'm going to type only when I can stand to spend that extra time at the computer. Hopefully my work load will lighten up and I can get a schedule going for updates, but I can't guarantee that will happen. I've only gotten busier as the time has passed.

NEWS ~23 September 2011~

Yes, I disappeared for nearly 2 years. I apologize to all of my readers for that. I am planning on updating both YnY:OnF and ODR again. It's going to be difficult to get back into the swing of things, but I don't want to keep putting it off, thinking things will slow down and make it easier. Life, unfortunately, doesn't work that way. I wish it did.

At this point, I do not have an update ready for ODR. I need to go back and re-read everything, and figure out where I left off. I do have the notebook I had been doing planning in, so an update should come quicker than it did for YnY:OnF (I started the new chapter for that at the beginning of the month and was only just able to finish it.) Updates still won't really be on any sort of a schedule, but I am going to do my damnedest to update both stories at least a couple times a month. (Please, keep in mind that on top of working on both of these, I'm preparing one novel for self-publication, editing another, gearing up for NaNo '11, working full time, and trying to help out my cousins where I can, as they need all the help they can get. Their mother, my aunt, was diagnosed with cancer over the summer and isn't expected to live more than maybe three or four more months. Yes, life has gotten extremely crazy, to the point of having to put school on the back burner for the semester to ensure that my GPA doesn't suffer.)

Anyway, boring/morbid/whiny real life crap aside, I am back, and you lovely readers will get updates again. Yay!
