Beowulf, Beowulf, line 1384-1385
Welcome to my page.
I like writing Fiction/fantasy the most. Sometimes when I'm feeling brave I will write a Sci-Fi or a Mythology-esque story. I've never gotten far with the Mythology though...
I listen to a lot of music. Killswitch Engage (Heavy metal) all the way to Lonestar (country) and basically everything in between to an extent.
I'm in college, at Western Oregon University, studying Education with a focus in English.
The Price of Murder- Completed short story. About an innkeeper named Eirik. He wants his daughter to marry the cook boy, Jurgen. However, a strange and chilling inn guest, Sigurd, wants Brigitte for himself. Sigurd will do whatever it takes to have her, and Eirik will do likewise to protect her. A lot of references to Norse Myth.
Lies Under Lies- I was listening to Panic! At The Disco and I just decided to write about their song "Build God, Then We'll Talk." It's just a little short thing. Definitely helps to have heard the song before.
The Last Saint- Pulled down for some RADICAL RESTRUCTURING! I have received a few reviews from here, and lots from outside sources. All agree that I need some more character development with the lead. So, the story is currently being overhauled, but hopefully it will still retain the same flavor! Thanks soo much again for those who reviewed and lent some insight!!
To Be Saved- This is a little something I'm working on as I rewrite tLS. I originally wrote it in high school for someone, but lost the document. I am rewriting it now, hoping it comes out better than the first. It concerns a being named Shael, and how his world gets thrown totally out of whack when he meets his supposed 'worst Enemy'. Spiritual, and hopefully at the end, moving.
That's the cookies crumbs kiddies...
