I've been writing seriously (with the idea of doing this for a living) for four years. But it's still something that I can only do part-time between university studies. The kinds of stories that I like doing are police procedural, paranormal, and thrillers. But somehow romance will be put into the story.

Writing to me is self discovery. I find out about my deepest fears and hurts then move past them into transcendence through writing. It is very meditative for me. But also like going into a dark room and opening the night on a new idea each time.

When it comes to romance as a genre, I like monogamous only-have-eyes-for-you sexy couplings that cross ethnic borders to mix and mingle. Mostly because I write the kind of guys I like so the pairings will be indie instead of mainstream blue eyed blonde haired loving. I specialize in BW, HM/WM/AM – whatever floats my boat. I cite influences from TV, a multicultural upbringing, and a nonconformist lifestyle.

My favorite contemporary writers are Ms. Francesca Lia Block (whom I also refer to as Queen Writing Goddess or QWG for short) and Mr. Dave Eggers (I love his sense of humor; either that or I have the same touch of narcissism).
