So, you found me. Well, welcome to my 'humble' Scottish profile! I'm just going to list a few random facts about myself and my favourite things. I'm going to try and keep my profile updated as well as I possibly can.
Update: 9 May, 2014 I am officially DONE with my undergraduate career! Booyah! Hahaha... okay, in other news, this means that I can focus on my writing again. Yay! Scotty's back, baby! *happy dance* Oh, and BTW, also planning a wedding. Yeah, you heard that right. Getting married in August, so, although I am back in the writing-for-fun-instead-of-for-school game, I will have to limit my time because I do, unfortunately, still have to maintain a presence in the real world. ;)
Education: Received my Associate's Degree in Creative Writing from Austin Community College in May of 2012. Received my Bachelor's in English Writing and Rhetoric - Specialization in Creative Writing from St. Edward's University in May of 2014.
I've been reading since I picked up an encyclopedia when I was 4 and I've been seriously writing since I was 9. I have actually finished The Adventures of Ian MacDermott, that I've been working on for over 10 years now, but it needs MAJOR editing and revising. However, when I do manage to get it published, I'll be sure to let y'all know. =D
My preferred genres for writing are historical-fiction, western, fantasy, and romance, although I read nearly anything.
My Favourite Books: Flint by Louis L'Amour, Pearls of Lutra by Brian Jacques, Castaways of the Flying Dutchman by Brian Jacques, Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz, The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore, The First King of Shannara by Terry Brooks
My Favourite Authors: Louis L'Amour, Brian Jacques, Anthony Horowitz, Agatha Christie, James Herriot, Terry Brooks and R.A. Salvatore.
Important notice about all my work: I will only be posting about the first three or four chapters of my major works in progress so that I can publish them without worry. PLEASE read my Author's Note at the end of The Adventures of Ian MacDermott for a complete explanation.
Well, I guess I'll just leave it at that... for now. If y'all have got any questions, feel free to ask, I'm always here for y'all!
