12/31/02 Apologies for the lack of updates this month. The Random Things About Me That You're Probably Better Off Not Knowing
AriaStar is a teenager from somewhere in the sunny state of California, even though it is seldom sunny there. She would like to say how insane she is, but for the sake of originality, she won't. She appears to like talking in third person.
She has a sort of driven obsession with the Marauders and their era. Secondly, she feels she should also assert that she's *not* a newbie LotR fan; in fact, she read it before Harry Potter was ever published. HP just ... distracted her, and the LotR movie brought her to her senses. Not that she's giving up HP, not by a long shot. She seems to have an inability to keep from writing less than two fics at a time, and appears to enjoy the challenge of multitasking. She's won a writing contest, and she's planning to be a professional writer when she is freed from the curse that is school, but for now she's sticking to fanfic. Her obsessions include butterbeer, muses, werewolves, hobbits, and Jedi.
She has a joint account with Carolyn Potter at http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=69624 and a joint account with PadfootMew, aka Polaris, at http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=256336 She will also soon have a joint account with Casey Mountain.
She has a mini-Aragog, Lupi. If you do not know what a mini-Aragog is, she directs you to HFA by Meir Brin. If you do not know what a regular Aragog is, she wonders why you are even at her profile, and demands that you read both Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. She also has a mini-balrog, Pipin. If you do not know what a mini-balrog is, she directs you to OFUM by Camillia Sandman. If you do not know what a regular balrog is, she demands you read Lord of the Rings.
If you wish to call her something besides Aria or AriaStar, you may call her Spip. This is a nickname generously bestowed upon her by Carolyn and Casey, and has little to do with her real name. She will, however, both answer to the name and incert random characters by that name in her fics. Hey, everyone has to have *some* sort of Mary Sue. ^_~
