I've been writing all my life, but never delved further into fiction than half-finished pieces. I studied journalism in college, and I realized writing really is what I'd like to do with my life. I working on a novel now, but in the mean time, practice can't hurt. I was once told by a professor that you have to pick a genre and stay with it, that you can't write in more than one. I disagreed then, and I still do. I'm using these short stories to experiment in different genres, and determine which ones I like and am good at. I hope you enjoy reading them, as much as I did writing, and I would really appreciate criticism. Thanks.
