Considering the large number of plagiarised authors FP has had in the last few weeks, i have decided NOT to post my novel here, which, i have to say, is a shame. I was looking forward to the feedback. I'm glad now though, that i kept postponing it as long as i did. HOWEVER! My name is Marie and i'm from Melbourne, Australia. I'm currently completing a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing at Victoria University.

I've been writing since i was a kid, and aspire to be an editor after school. However, my ultimate goal is to be a published author.

I have writen FanFiction, although i quit in order to focus on original projects. I have written many pieces for Harry Potter, Tamora Pierce (if anyone out there has heard of her) and Gossip Girl, the TV series. Even I love them, and that's saying something.

Also, for anyone who loves Harry Potter discussion, and wants to hear more talk about the novels, actors, movies, etc, i recommend MuggleCast is a podcast about everything Harry Potter. It's very well done and very proffessional despite the hosts being so young, (their ages range from 24 - 18). They're all up to date and are hilarious, so check them out.

Also, if you're a Twilight fan, check out It's run by some of the aforementioned Mugglecasters, and they have a podcast called 'Imprint'. Definitely visit them.
