Thanks for stopping in!
I'm currently bouncing around the United States with my husband, who is in the US Air Force. We're currently in Monterey, California, but I'm originally from Chesterfield, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis). Most of my references for scenery and weather comes from these areas. Occasionally, I'll pull references from my husband's native Erick, Oklahoma, but seeing as how I've never been there, it's all hearsay.
Most of my writing style is pulled from Stephen King, Chuck Palahniuk, or Neil Gaiman (Go read American Gods. Go!), since these men are my favorite authors. However, I couldn't hope to write a story so complex as they do. I like writing suspense, but I'm not very good at it, so more often, I'll write fantasy. Keep an eye out for works soon!
I'm nineteen, and I speak English and Spanish. While I was in the Air Force, I was learning Arabic, and my husband is teaching me Urdu/Hindi. Therefore, occasionally my grammar will fail, due to the fact that I've only been speaking English for nineteen years, and that my grammar rules get confused with the other languages, especially if I'm tired. Please, when you review, nitpick everything from grammar to spelling to plot. I love criticism, because it gives me a chance to work on my weaknesses.
