Author has written 15 stories for Horror, Fantasy, General, Fable, Young Adult, Haiku, General, Love, Historical, and Essay.

I have been reading for nineteen of my twenty-two years, and writing for eight (which is reflected by the great differences in quality between my earlier and later stories). I am a student, a gamer, a pedant, a mystic, the least musical man on the planet, a martial artist, a threat to world peace, and, perhaps most relevantly, a storyteller.

I tell stories partly out of enjoyment, and partly in the simple hope that eventually, they will stop knocking at my door at random hours of day and night and demanding to be written down. My main interests in writing are fantasy (with which I began as a writer) and short stories (inspired primarily by Isaac Asimov, which is recognisable in my predilection for ending with a twist). After far too long, I am finally working on a novel in the magical realism style, one about a household of eccentric students (not in the least autobiographical, needless to say), but this does not stop me from acting on random inspirations and fleeting thoughts. I enjoy challenges, and thus expect to see variety here, including haiku, 55-fiction and whatever other genre briefly takes my fancy (I rarely write poetry, and even more rarely like what I've written, but some of that is here too). If you can set me a particularly interesting task, I will certainly consider it.

My main purpose in using FictionPress is to give easy access to my writing for those friends foolish enough to express an interest (rather than some pressing desire to showcase my work to the world at large). Should you decide to leave a review, please be critical, highlighting both particularly successful techniques and specific areas needing refinement. Purely complimentary reviews will do nothing but inflate my already unnecessarily large ego, while purely negative ones will be remembered when the Master Plan reaches Phase Six and the orbital laser satellite needs test-firing.

On that cheerful note, I wish you enjoyment of the works herein.
