![]() Author has written 1 story for Fantasy. What's up internet world? I am Jabberjay, previously known as Celtic Light. If you haven't read the Hunger Games Trilogy (which my username is derived from), go ahead and do so before the movie releases next year! There have been mixed reviews about the ending, but that's not a reason to not read it. It's rare to come across good writing, detailed plot, and in-depth character development these days. Every time I pass by the Barns and Noble Paranormal Romance section, a part of me dies. Not that paranormal romance is bad, but there are more fangs on that shelf then in the mouth of a shark. Where has creativity gone? Anyway, here are some books I've read recently and I recommend: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larrson (Murder myster and rated. I don't have any inclination currently to read the rest but the first book was interesting on its own) The Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi (Super intense and rated. Not for the youth or weak hearted) The Help by Kathryn Stockett (Which is not in the Fantasy or adventure/action realm but quite good; a good reader has broad reading material, after all) Chapter 6 has been published and chapter 7 is written and waiting to be edited until it is spotlessly clean. I was reading my earlier chapters and mentally blushed in the huge mistakes i made in keeping names straight and in grammer. There was also one part which I am suspicious that a whole phrase was cut out of. Interesting attack, internet gremlins, we'll see who wins in the end. Sincerely, |
