Author has written 19 stories for Mythology, Kids, Fantasy, Fantasy, General, General, Supernatural, Love, Romance, and Horror.

Welcome to my little corner of the site.

My writing style is generally laconic. This means that I don't usually use a lot of description. As such, my stories are generally character/plot-driven. I say generally because, occasionally, I will do some description-heavy writing.

In my poetry, expect quite a bit of sensical nonsense from me. Making outrageous things seem plausible and vice versa is my specialty. In everything else (short stories, novels, essays, etc.), black humor, sarcasm, satire, tragedy, death of characters, and deep contemplation abound. Ask me not why my writing is so dark; I do not know the answer myself.

On another note, I adore archaic and/or unusual words and syntaxes so if you find some weird terms in my writing that you cannot find the definition for, feel free to ask me.

Updates, Book Reviews, Articles, and Ramblings

Review Policy

I will not read/review stories with:

Slash (implied homosexuality is fine, though)

Excessive Violence

Graphic Sex

Excessive cursing

An obvious lack of spellcheck

Current Projects

The Death of the Dark Lord Thirilight (Thirilight)

The Death of the Dark Lord Thirilight is the plotbunny spawned by a drabble of the same name. I've lengthened the original drabble into a chapter, and future installments are in the writing. Go read it! :P

Updates whenever I can (college eats my time).

Side Projects

The Fox and the Prince (TFatP)

A blending of the fairytales "Tsarevich Ivan, the Firebird, and the Wolf" and "The Golden Bird" with elements of Classical, Nordic, and Christian mythology tossed into the mix.

TFatP is just something I write whenever I get frustrated/blocked with Thirilight. As a result, updates will be very erratic.

Future Projects

My Name is Gary Stew (Gary)

Gary Stew has always been the outcast. Considered crude by his peers due to his name, Gary has only ever had one true friend - Ovaltine. One day, however, Gary and Ovaltine are summoned before the ruler of Merysu, Her Imperial Niceness, Eternally Your Queen Mariella Susanna CDXLVIII (448), and charged with an important mission: prevent war with Antiseu.

A Mary Sue parody, of sorts.

Too Long a Slumber (TLaS)

A Sleeping Beauty rendition.

Saraden - The Sleeping Kingdom. For the past century, the kingdom has slept, awaiting the Princess's awakening by True Love's First Kiss, a spell crafted by her uncle to ensure her happiness. But everything has gone horribly wrong. Saraden now faces eternal slumber as it's Keeper slowly dies of age.

Estimated Length: 4 chapters
