Hello there. =)

I'm Mimi.

The main thing you need to know about me is that I'm not a speedy writer. I can't just sit down and whip up a story within a few hours. Once I finish something, I read over it at least three times. And then I go back and change whatever I don't like. I need to put a hundred percent into whatever I write (with the exception of How Cliche, which is just me venting), so I'd be lucky to write more than three hundred words in a day. I fall into plotholes quite easily, and when I do, I just stop writing. I can't continue on, even if I want to. Story ideas come to me once in a blue moon, so that's why I rarely ever create anything new.

And because I'm extremely busy.

And lazy.

About I Don't:

This was a school assignment I had to do when we were studying short stories. I was originally going to include lots of angst and gloomy stuff, but I didn't think my bubbly English teacher would appreciate it very much. So I just wrote something sweet and romantic and slightly predictable for her. As of right now, I'm not planning on writing the second part of it, which tells Lorelei's story, but I'm thinking about it. I'm far too lazy to even go back and revise Adele's story, let alone start something new.

About How Cliche:

I never thought I'd be turning my life into a story. But someone once asked me over the Internet about my relationship with my former best friend, and after I typed it out, I thought it seemed very story-ish. So I turned it into one. It is not terribly exciting, but that's life, and life is rarely like what you read in books. I will ramble a lot, I will write about every person I liked, tell about my revelations, and I will describe exactly how I felt about my closest guy friend, whose name is, well, classified. (Like I'm going to risk him finding out!) Let's just call him Liam. That's who the story revolves around, but my attention gets diverted sometimes. And since it's still too early to tell how this story is going to end, I'm going to make up an ending. That means that everything I write (every event, every person, every feeling) is true, up to a certain point. You are welcome to tell me your opinion of my situation, whether encouraging or negative. The words I used in there are from the heart. I didn't try to use fancy vocabulary. It's all casual because the whole thing is literally a rant/letter. That I really want to send.

About my poems:

Just don't read them. Their purpose is to only exist.

How Cliché reviews
I promised myself that I would never fall for you. I was ready to prove that a boy and girl could be best friends without one harboring secret feelings for the other. It's too bad I never could keep my promises. Based on a true story.

Callum is an absolute beast, arrogant and overconfident. I hate him. And, lucky me, we are betrothed. It appears that Father's will has no loopholes. I don't think I can go through with the wedding. Caine, I miss you...
