My Writer's Manifesto:
I read recently that too few authors complete their apprenticeships and that many writers spend up to nine years preparing to take on the writing world and drawing in experiences. So this is my testament to my apprenticeship. On this account, I will update novels, poems, short stories, essays and any other form of writing I deem necessary to continue my writing experience. I am looking for critiques. I cannot stress that enough. I want to know what I need to fix and how to fix it. I will, however, warn you that I can tell the difference between a thoughtful, useful critique and useless flaming, and I will ignore/delete comments I find obscene, pointless and downright rude. I am a student of the written word, and I am looking for a community of teachers.
