![]() "Love doesn't make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile." DISCLAIMER: Some of you may know of a little piece of hell that they call IB (International Baccaleaureate). Even the name sounds uber boring, doesn't it? It is. The problem is that the workload is insane (to prepare us for university...or to torture us because the teachers are evil), which means that I can't update as often as I might like. So, let me put it to you this way: I'm sorry that I'm not updating as often as I (or you) might like, but I can't help it! Honestly! Just bear with me. Please? Right, so, a little about me. I'm a shopaholic, and a chocoholic, and a workaholic, and a... procrastinate-holic? Yes, I do realize that being a workaholic and a procrastinate-holic (or whatever you call someone who tends to procrastinate a lot) doesn't really mix, but that's just the way I am...I'm weird that way. Right now (and I do mean right now, since I have the attention span of a fly) I'm in love with rock ballads and Meg Cabot books. And chocolate. I am addicted to chocolate, especially truffles . (I think I mentioned that before, but...) I am also in love with Jane Austen books, Victorian mansions, chandeliers, scented candles, shopping, fashion, all things designer, sleeping in, pigging out, Starbucks coffee, random facts, things people blurt out by "accident", Charlie Brown and Snoopy, and walking in the rain (preferably with an umbrella). I also love The Sound of Music, and am addicted to the show So You Think You Can Dance. Did I mention that I have a strange tendency to fall in love with fictional characters? (Fitzwilliam Darcy and Mr. Rochester, for example, if you're talking about well-known characters, and a few ... dozen...others) To sum all that up, I'm a hopeless romantic. Enough about me... happy reading! I'm doing my best and trying to update my stories as quickly as possible, but don't be surprised if I don't update for a week or two without warning. I promise to come back, though. And please please please, review! I hope you would actually like my stories, and constructive criticism is always welcome :) Upcoming (Hopefull Soon xP) Stories The etiquette with these story ideas, are of course: PLEASE DON'T COPY MY IDEAS IN ANY WAY! I spent time thinking up these ideas, and I get to be the one to write them into stories. Got it? Good. Now, let us continue... Kamikaze Marriage: "Okay, so how about this: If I get married, then you have to, too. Kind of like a joint suicide pact." This coming from a guy whose previous girlfriend cheated on him and deserted him, to a girl who's still trying to decide which of her three boyfriends she should be with. What happens when the girl falls for the guy...who's on his way to the altar with another girl! Square Root of Love: What would you do if the love of your life is your mother's best friend's second daughter's college roomate's boyfriend? Add in a stray cat, a broken locket, a couple of good parties and a secret admirer, and it's suddenly more confusing than my Advanced Calculus class. In the Dreaming: It's not always easy being some kind of channel that allows you to see into the past lives of ghosts. But to suddenly have the psychopathic ghost of your incredibly gorgeous crush's great-great-great-grandmother possessing you at odd intervals of time without your knowing? That is way worse. Unspeakable: It's the curse: since the minute, the very second that his lips touched mine, I was struck dumb. Not figuratively, literally. I can't talk. I had thought he loved me. I was wrong. He kissed me so I can't scream if, and when, he tries to kill me. Something, Irrevolcably: If the girl of your dreams shows up at your doorstep half dead, then tells you that you're the reincarnation of some dude that existed a century ago and may or may not have comitted suicide, I'll be damned if anyone says that he didn't consider committing suicide right then and there. Seemed like a pretty good idea to me. |
