Hiya, my name is Spuri. Well, obviously that's not my real name, but a shortening of my pen name, Spurious Sanity. My real name is... :censored: haha, didn't that leave you curious! :grin:

I tend to write inspired by music. Cause I love music so much, and if I listen too closely to the lyrics, I'll almost always get assaulted by a bunny. Sometimes I'll even draw my characters and, gasp, upload them, although it's rare. Colouring is so much work, after all... Or rather, inking is... Yes, I'm lazy. Or perhaps I should say I procrastinate like mad.

Hobbies are - apart from writing - reading, music, movies, manga and anime. And since I'm past halfway fluent in Japanese, that influence might pop up here and there. Don't ask me to do fanfiction, though. My brain simply doesn't work that way.

My stories usually don't go terribly explicit, although I'm trying to overcome my embarrassment for smut. So, if a story is censored for content on here, I'll make sure to let you know, so those who want to can go to my lj and read the full thing there.

I mostly write slash/yaoi. This means homosexual relationships, or, put more simply, guy on guy. I tend to give ample warnings, so don't blame me if you missed them and read something that squicked you out. Don't like, don't read. And if you actually bother spend your energy on something stupid like flaming, I will not only laugh at you, I'll probably report you for abusive behaviour. (doubt anyone will care enough about my stories to flame me, and it's not popular these days, anyway.)

Constructive criticism, however, is accepted with joy. And feel free to point out stupid spelling mistakes. I can't always catch 'em all, after all. I mean, they're not Pokemon, or anything...

Currently working on ten stories, or something like that. Most will appear here at some point, but a few would need too much editing to be allowed on here. Editing that would make the story make no sense (Yes, Braiding Shadows, I'm looking at you. You too, Sweet Cold Rain). Available at my lj.
