Hi. I'm Karrah.
I'm in college. I've been writing since I was in first grade. Yes, that's a long time.
I'm abnormally not tall, and abnormally not fat. I'm not someone you would notice on the street.
I have a black belt in Taekwondo. I've never had to use it. Secretly I wish I could.
I keep to myself. I hate crowds. Too many people for too long makes me cranky.
Music is second only to writing in my life. But only because I'm a terrible musician.
I've been called nuts. I believe it to be true.
I will never look at the world as everyone else does.

I despise:
~~bad spellers, people who cannot use proper grammar, and those that have a blatant disregard for the English language. Spell Check is not a new invention people.
~~stories where the main character wears skinny jeans and converse, has black hair, is unpopular, and lives off Indie Rock. It's been done again and again. And again. Move on.
~~people who will cast something or someone out of favor simply because it/he/she does not appeal to them. One should be able to recognize the validity of something even if one doesn't like it. I don't like Shakespeare, but I recognize his brilliancy as a playwright. I don't care for Rap, but I recognize its validity as a musical genre and art form.
~~authors on FP who won't reveal their age. Just a general idea would be a big help. You can't critique a 13 year-old in the same way as a 24 year-old.

I love:
~~reading stories with well developed characters. Characters that grow and learn something in the story are my favorite.
~~stories about normal people. Girls that wear old jeans and t-shirts, aspire to be doctors, aren't popular or unpopular and don't have a boyfriend because they're shy. Boys that wear basketball shorts and t-shirts, play guitar, aren't popular or unpopular and are in love with their best friend who happens to be a girl.
~~people that are intellectual and unpretentious. If you're intellectual, people will notice. You shouldn't have to cop attitude.
~~authors on FP who leave legitimate reviews with places to improve and things to work on.

I know I had a lot of stuff on here before, but I'm trying to get back to working on one piece at a time. I ended up finishing Tweaked over winter break, so I figured I might as well share it on here. I'm in the process of doing some serious reworking, which I might post or I might not. It depends on whether I decide to try to publish it or not. Anyway, there you go.
