Hello! My name is Aylute Gwyneth MacFarlane, or Becka. I chose this name because it's the name I've been wanting since I was 16. I'm 21 years old now and a lot of things have change since I picked my writing name. I have red-brown hair, dark blue eyes with flecks of amber, and I'm visually crippled. I would be so lost without my contacts or glasses! I'm Canadian, but I've seen more countries than provinces and territories. I'm currently living on an island that's overdue for an earthquake. Am I worried? Of course not! But I will be very angry if any of my books get damaged.

I am a notebook collector. I currently have 19 empty notebooks and I'm still buying more. Just as Dumbledore knows you can never have enough socks, I know I'll never have enough notebooks. Though writing on the first page is always a breakthrough for me.

I drink my coffee black and add milk to my tea. I like watching the milk-clouds rolling around in my cup and it even inspired one of my stories! I listen to all types of music, from my Dad's favourite bands to the ones I discovered though my musically talented friends. I'll listen to anything but country and scream. I am a strong believer in wearing scarves and mittens whenever possible. I never leave my house without my camera or cell phone. If I go on an adventure walk, I usually only bring my camera. I'm a macro photographer and I have a great love for adobe lightroom photoshop. My website is: http:///

Unfortunately I haven't been updating a lot, which really sucks. I'm in fourth year university and I'm going for a major in English and minors in Creative Writing and Psychology. I love my classes for the learning and the constant story inspirations. My goal is to become a high school teacher and teach where no one really wants to live. I hope to open a creative writing club at each of the schools I teach at, and hopefully guide some young authors into achieving their own goals. I'll be off to the Yukon in a few years to stare at northern lights and enjoy the solitude of writing.

~Never regret what you have done, only what you have not~
