The name Miyu Sakura was chosen mainly because I am not an immortal dark princess of the night, but in reality a rather bouncy and rapidly aging student at Johns Hopkins University. Generally I'm bad about respinding to e-mail in a timely manner and even worse about regularly chatting on AIM, but I will always make the effort to contact you (eventually).

Currently I'm building my website and trying to avoid actual work as much as possible. If you want to know any more, follow the link to my blog on the site (which is more or less up!). I actually do update the blog... unlike my fics.

My current beliefs are that the fanfiction community has begun to suffer from stagnation and I want to personally encourage all authors to stretch the limits of their abilities and imaginations. I hope that writers will start to write for the sake of expanding the genre rather than pairing up their ideal sex partners or writing for the sake of reviews. I also hope that reviewers will begin to offer genuine feedback and not merely idle praise.
