Why are you so open about your past - things that have happened to you, and the things you've done yourself?
I explain these things because I do not know who is listening. For all I know, the listener of my stories may be experiencing a similar situation. By telling my story, and by leading by example, maybe I can encourage someone to be better than I was, or encourage them to continue living through what is happening in their life.
I do not ask for your story – however, if you need to tell yours, I welcome the opportunity to speak with you. I just ask you listen to mine, and I tell my story in hopes – knowing – someone, somewhere, has been inspired by what has happened to me, and has changed their situation, their life or continued living theirs. If there is no such person, by being open I am losing nothing, and I do not regret it. I take strength in giving strength to others.
I cannot hide my self inflicted scars, and I cannot change whats happened to me. I can, however, show others, and possibly lead them, in helping them believe in themselves. Subbie
