![]() Author has written 36 stories for General, Song, War, Love, General, Fantasy, Friendship, Religion, Nature, Life, Humor, Family, and Action. Hello, adoring public! Lol not really, but hey, I can dream, can't I? :D I've always wanted to write an 'about the author' piece on myself (mostly because it gives me an excuse to talk about myself in the third person :P) so hey, here it goes! Irina Samuels has completed one novel in her short and illustrious ((:P)) career, Shadow Child. She has also written a bit of poetry, one short story, and is working on another novel, Finding Rocio Sanchez. She adores both reading and writing, and let's face it, what author doesn't? She would also like to add that Fireflight ROCKS, red is her favorite color, and Hugh Jackman and Gerard Butler are quite possibly the sexiest men on the planet. That is all I have to say for right now :P And I would dearly like to hear what you think! My readers and friends are my greatest critics, and I would like to know your thoughts and suggestions! If you have stayed with me for this long, props to you for reading my drabble! :D I remain your faithful servant, I.S. On My Reading Table: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (And Catching Fire, the sequel) The Complete Sherlock Holmes, volumes one and two, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke Obedience by Will Lavender Fang by James Patterson The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancy Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy Percy Jackson and the Olympians (all of them :)) by Rick Riordan and, as always... The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer Now, for those of you who would criticize me for liking the Twilight series, I have only this to say: I love the books, but I hate the hype. I preferred it much more when only a few people knew about it. Until I have the time or inclination to update again, I.S. 8-19-10 IMPORTANT QUESTION!! Why?? Why is it that only SOME of the book titles are underlined, and the rest are not? Can anyone answer this remarkably annoying question?? DOES ANYONE HAVE THE SOLUTION?! If so, you should totally tell me. :P ~I.S. |
