Author has written 4 stories for Sci-Fi, and General.

I'm an aspiring author and I've decided to use this place to help me gain some insight. I prefer helpful critiques, letting me know what you like and dislike. Some things might be taken down later for different reasons, which will hopefully have to do with publishing. crosses fingers

My biggest inspirations come from my little sister, my crazy friends, my cat and my dreams. I normally write science fiction but I'm known to play with fantasy. I attend at least two writer's groups a week, and spend one day doing nothing but writing.

I'm twenty years old and work in retail. I spend most of my time at a computer chasing after my inspiration, but I am known to occasionally prowl the bowling centers and coffee houses. I make costumes and love anime. I love to read. I dance, I sing, and if you stare long enough I might do a trick! Keep you're eyes on the bookshelves because one day I'll be there!

If you need a name to call me, I've been dubbed Ash, and I answer to it. I love long reviews that give me insight to my reader's minds.

Enough about me, here’s a little about the stories:

Forgotten- This is a story challenge with a friend of mine (bleedtruebeauty) so we have certain rules we have to follow. It's the newest of the things I have posted up here, so it's the best. (It hasn't been sitting in a draw for a year!). Its sci-fi, but I think it'll border on the edge of fantasy also. We'll see!

Dark Moon- Dark Moon was my first novel I wrote, finished in '05. I queried it early '06 and received one full manuscript request. After the rejection of that, I placed Dark Moon and the characters in the drawer to sit and think. I've just pulled it out again for a rework of it and decided to post the original up here for people to help me with. I would greatly appreciate any feed back on it, good or bad. I will post a chapter a week until the entire thing is posted. It was meant to be part of the series and I think if I can rework it correctly it will remain a series.

Red's Wolf- This is my second novel that I wrote. It was finished late '06 I believe, and I had help editing it from some co-workers. I had only sent one query out and then I sat down to take a hard look at the book. I had decided that it was too much like the books I was currently reading, and that something needed to change. So again this one was put back into the drawer to stay with Dark Moon, that was until November rolled around. November '07 Nanowrimo was when I rewrote Red's Wolf for the first time. That version will be later posted when I'm done with the edits. I'm still not sure if I'm going to even query that one or not.

For those who work retail: A letter to the customers we love to hate. I wrote it after a lady threw something at me.

A Fairy story: Thank you for the feed back that I got on this story. I did remove it so I could edit it some more, and submit it. If I'm lucky it will be accepted somewhere.
