So...

This is me. In case you couldn't guess, FaeNocturne is a pseudonym. I'm thinking of perhaps changing it, as I have become interested in Latin words and how cool they sound. I don't know, truthfully.

I just started putting my stories up here--like, a few minutes before I decided to put something on my profile/bio--and I'm hoping that they aren't too bad. I definitely have a penchant for angst, even when I'm not feeling angsty. It's just fun to write, for some reason. And read for that matter.

I like X-men: Evolution and have a fanfiction account under Abbs of the Faeries.

In case you can't tell? Yeah. I like faeries. They're pretty awesome.

That and the color purple. Which is one of the best colors in the universe.

Anyway. Yeah. I live on the east coast, although not on the coast, but that's beside the point of me writing. Except that I don't really know what the weather's like on the actual coast of the east coast.

So...um, I'm a high-school student, and in my free time I'm usually either writing or doing homework or going on the computer. Or reading--I don't get much of a chance to, with my often busy schedule, but I love reading, and I'm currently working on a little Shakespeare. Taming of the Shrew, to be precise. We just finished Julius Casear in English class, but I wasn't really a fan of it.

So, read my stories if you want, be prepared for angst, and please refrain from flaming. Well-rounded criticism is accepted and welcomed, as I want to improve on my writing and writing style.

From One Bitch To Another
An one-shot about friends lost. Mostly written for one person--they know who they are. Rated T just because of the swearing in the title. Pillow-book style, it's about how I feel.

Selfish reviews
A piece of prose/stream of consciousness drabble that just sort of spilled out. Sort of like a journal entry. I'm not really sure how to describe it, besides that.

Ramblings of a Painfilled Angst Girl reviews
I tell it like it is. Just a rambling on the pain of being rejected for someone else, of being only good enough to be 'unofficial'. A one-shot...I think.

Like a Moth to the Flame
A story about how sometimes, it's hard to stay away from a light...even if you know it will hurt you. One-shot. No rating is really needed. It sounds better than I'm putting it in the summary...I think so, at least.

Choices reviews
A series of one-shots based on choices, making them, and how we live with them...or something like that. I'm not that good at summaries, but the stories are better. Rated T for safety in other chapters.

A one-shot based on bad experiences--what else?--and how they affect us. How seemingly random objects have different meanings to everyone. K only because it is angsty like most of my other stories.

Valentine's Day reviews
The somewhat sad story of a teen and the girl inside her, confused at exactly what is what. Not sure if I'm doing a good job of describing it, but I think it's pretty good. ONE-SHOT that might become a two-shot.

And so I, the youngest sister, have been left to choose last. A short drabble that tells the story of the younger one, the one that seems to be just fine. Rated T for the angsty/dark theme of the story. ONE-SHOT
