About Me:

My name is Cailee. I'm seventeen. Most people who know me think I'm really shy. Or stuck up. Whichever. Either way, I'm not a very open person unless I've known the people I'm around for awhile. I love writing. If I didn't write, I'd probably be a really miserable person. I don't write about my life, but it's a great distraction when things aren't going as well as I planned. I always have like four of five story ideas floating around in my head. Very few ever make it to paper, and even less to the third chapter. If I really, really like an idea, it stays with me until I doput it down. I'd rather read a book than go to a party. Yeah, I know, sad right? I even bring books to football games. Which is severly frowned upon in Texas, where I've lived for the last nine years.

Who calls you beautiful instead of hot,
who calls you back when you hang up on him,
who'll lay under the stars for hours and listen to your heart beat.
Or will stay awake just to watch you sleep.
Wait for the guy that kisses your forehead,
who keeps your picture in his wallet,
who wants to show you off to the world even when your in sweatpants,
who holds your hand in front of all his friends,
who thinks your beautiful without makeup,
one who is constantly telling you of how much he cares and how he is lucky to have you,
the one who turns to his friends and says THAT'S HER!

Life is not counted by the breaths we take. It is counted by the moments that take our breath away.

I kind of love vampires, but there are a few things about the genre that annoy me to no end. Why is the damsel in distress some social pariah? Why does someone in the story always have to be able to read minds? Why does the Knight in Shining Armor always leave? And why does he always drink animal blood and have deep set family and psychological problems out the wazoo?
