![]() Author has written 5 stories for Romance, and Love. About Me: Hey! Most people don't bother reading profile pages - but if you're one of those 'curiosity killed the cat' people,by all means read on..lol.. Biographically speaking, I'm a twenty-two year old crazed perfectionist. My name should be a dead give away as to the specifications of my sex, if its still not clear to you YES I'm a girl. O.o I have a serious passion for writing, and have come up with what I've been told are intriguing stories - but never finished, so I don't think I'll be posting anything in a while. I might be posting my lyrics/poems,..but we'll see I guess. I can rant incoherent babbles since I've found (much to my friends' surprise) that I'm not that shy and closet-like after all and am actually capable of talking myself silly, but let's not go there lest we all suffer from bipolarity within the next hour. Anyways, as you may or may not be able to tell, I'm astonishingly sarcastic, and from my collected favorites you'd have to be an idiot not to notice that I'm a hopeless romantic. While I'm on that point, I'd just like to note that I'm very careful in selecting my favourite stories - they don't end up there because of nothing. Any story that has made it to my favourite list I'm proud to say have undergone a highly competitive elimination process. I look for heart-wrenching, gut-twisting, tear-inducing and passion-filled stories which at the end of the day makes my heart flutter in contentment. So anyone browsing through - rest assured that they're stories worth reading and worthy of your time, and on some I'd even go as far as saying that you'd miss out on a lot if you don't read them. I'm too much of an idealist, and I uphold morality and intellectual property like there's no tomorrow - this is one of the few things law school managed to brainwash me with. That being said, I'm usually a very pleasant reviewer and would not hesitate to give out opinions if asked - but it's also why I absolutely hate, abhor, dislike, detest, reject, _(insert other adjectives for 'hate' here)_ people who plagiarize other people's works. I've had it done to me in the past, and I know I'm sane enough to say NO ONE LIKES IT WHEN PEOPLE STEALS AWAY THEIR CREATIVITY which are only the BLOODY RESULT OF HARD, HARD, HARDWORK. So if I happen to be reading any story here on FP and find you doing exactly that, BE WARNED. I am a voracious reader, and I will catch you on the act. If you're interested of whom I've caught let me know and I'd gladly tell you. I don't want people to have the wrong impression of what they are reading - or who it came from and who actually deserves the applause. NEWSFLASH FOR FLAMERS: (and this is especially addressed to SHE who dared flame me without giving off her identity) DON'T FLAME IF YOU'RE NOT BRAVE ENOUGH TO SIGN IN. AUTHORS APPRECIATE REVIEWS. AUTHORS APPRECIATE CRITICISMS. BUT AUTHORS DO NOT APPRECIATE FLAMERS. I write my stories the way I pictured them. It could be because I'm a crazed perfectionist like I mentioned earlier, I don't know. But I do try my best so that my stories make sense. If they end up somewhat looking too perfect or unnatural, please don't come up to me and say 'perfection is boring' because, well HELLO? THIS IS WHY ITS CALLED FICTION. It's the one thing that differentiates fiction from reality: fiction has to make sense. Secondly, I've warned you that I do not live in the US, and so I will naturally make geographical mishaps. If you're too stupid and careless to actually read that, well that really is your problem and I'm not going to waste time caring for your opinion. Thirdly, I know more than anyone that my writing is far from perfect. I made that clear in the Prologue. And, I don't need people telling me that it sucks - I need to know why I'm wrong. If you can't do that, please - sod off. Fourthly, if you do not care for my stories - DON'T, I repeat, DON'T, BOTHER READING IT and QUIT RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE. Why?Because I am here posting my stories NOT to have vicious people like you bringing me down,- I am here because I want to learn. Do the rest of us writers a favour and shut up if you can't do a decent job of reviewing. And if you dare think that flames are what we need and that we need to toughen up - you are seriously retarded because humans work better under positive encouragement, not negative ones. SO for anyone new reading my stories - you have been warned. Criticize me all you want - but don't flame me. Especially if you're not signed in. It's a cowardly, irresponsible act, which shows that all you really want to do is bring the writer down, without even giving the writer the ability to respond and inquire back to you. Peace out. Age: I have recently turned 22. -groans- Occupation: I've recently graduated law school, and am thankfully employed. One thing I know for certain is that writing and publishing a book (and more hopefully) is definitely on my to-do list, but right now I really can't make that my first priority. I would jump at the chance of becoming a full-time writer though, without second thoughts ._. Authors I adore: J.K.Rowling - her writings are absolute perfection, I'm still boggled how she does it. Johanna Lindsey Lisa Kleypas Julia London David Sedaris Judith McNaught Nick Hornby Jane Austen Arthur Conan Doyle -and the list goes on really, just can't be bothered to put them all here but all the above are my idols for writing, Random facts about me: I love travelling. I read a lot of stories so it's really no wonder that my head constantly lives on cloud 99. I believe in true love. I believe in love at first sight. I believe every couple should have fights - without rocks in the relationship you can't grow stronger. I believe in God. I hate people who look down on others. I hate people who won't admit that they're wrong. I hate sycophants. I hate liars. I hate people who underestimate your ability. I hate people who comment on one's fashion or clothing - seriously, can you be any more shallow? I hate haughty people. I hate two-faced bitches. I think David Sedaris is funny as hell, but Russell Peters is unparalled for his ability to make people laugh. I do not think TWILIGHT or any of its affiliate stories are all that - and I am outraged that many compare it to the Harry Potter books: what are you, nuts? I always order ginger ale when I'm flying, because I'm not usually able to get it at home. I collect pens. I'm always thinking so don't be surprised if you find me staring off into space sometimes. I think I've found my garage band king, but I'm too cowardly to let him know. I have a tendency to want to buy most of my stuff in pink. But I still love my pastels, and black and whites. Racist people should just die. Same goes for fanatics of anything. I believe that if you want something, and you work really hard to attain it and pray - you will get it. Just remind yourself that it comes with consequences, which sometimes you can't guess. If I ever am able to publish novels and be like J.K. Rowling, I think I'll quit law altogether. I don't mind to be a stay-at-home mom. Music I listen to: I tend to gravitate towards alternative-indie-rock-pop-punk-emo the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Something Corporate, Brightwood, New Heights, Vertical Horizon, Lifehouse, The Fray, The Rocket Summer, Copeland, Nine Days, Orson, etc.. but I also listen to classical and a bit of jazz sometime. The only music I can't stand is RAP and seriously ghastly hip-hop - especially when the lyrics spout nothing but cuss words and has sexual innuendos heavily splattered all over it. Aside from said occasional classical and jazz, music to me has GOT to be accompanied by meaningful lyrics - and I'm afraid Rap and hip-hop rarely ever do. Currently working on: JANUARY 2011 - Chapter 9 of Pretty Boy In Disguise A/N: I decided to re-name the story! I thought it fit better with the theme. And I have a Facebook account under my name, Fayre Meira. Add me up and send me any pictures or ideas for characters that you have! UPDATED: May 21st 2009: Chapter Eight - Like Superman, Only Much Less Professional is UP! I am VERY SORRY to everyone for the belated update. I feel horrible about it. I hope it turns out OK. Please let me know what you think, and thanks so much for reading me! Many thanks also to everyone who's reviewed, added me and put me on their favourites!! ATFC CHARACTERS PICS Brody Patterson Adrian Green Dylan Price Victoria Thornton Annette Green Danielle Matthews (if they're not linked that means I haven't found them yet) After the Fog Clears (ATFC) -- Kyle Matthews has a face so beautiful its become a curse to him - especially with what has happened in his past. He's now moved to Penny Green's school, camouflaging himself as a certified geek so no girl would ever throw herself at him again. Penny herself has sworn off any man with a gorgeous facade, having her heart broken by her best friend who cheated on her with her arch-enemy, her cousin, Victoria. The two meet and fall in love, but what happens when Penny finally finds Kyle out? Would she risk her heart again? While Kyle needs her desperately to save him? This is my first work, and as you can guess I am ecstatic and excited with it! LOL. I don't know yet when it's going to be finished, its definitely a work in progress. I hope to be able to commit myself to finishing it, unless I find no one wants to read it, then I'll go work on another plot I have in mind. ATFC is set in the US, although I don't live there myself, I'm doing all background settings by aid of the internet so do go easy on me if there's anything I got wrong geographically. |
