Author has written 8 stories for Sci-Fi, General, Historical, Fantasy, Essay, and Romance.

Coloradoan writer Lorene Aurelia Holderfield (A.K.A. Edorenel, her pen name) is notable for her Fictional Romance stories, particularly her novel “Memory of a Kiss”, which received the 2011 and 2012 NaNoWriMo awards. With her sweeping imagination and endless creativity of unending worlds and characters, each with unique, potent stories of their own to tell, Lorene happily plays with proses, Short Stories, a bit of Sci-Fi, some Fantasy, and a bit of Fan Fiction.

“I am a restless bird seeking to fly forever cloud-high in the creative world. And as much as I love and dote on Fictional Romance set during historical periods, my heart seeks to try other genres as well not just for the mere fun of trying them, but for honing and growing my skill as a writer. As long as I am freely writing, my heart is content. Much like a blacksmith forging a trustworthy sword, the Art of Writing is something that must be continually remade and sharpened. And I feel that trying different genres achieves precisely that.”

Lorene has released many works. Her Short Story “It Must be the Coffee” was published in a local Indie Fort Collins magazine called “Mindbringer” and in a local Indie Texas magazine called “Mad Swirl”. Lorene strives to publish any of her works both in magazines offline and online as well as in book format. Lorene's dream and goal in life are to become a successful Romance novelist just like her number one inspiration: Jane Austen. Lorene's writings can be found on her website: A Cornucopia of Literature: The Writings of Lorene A. Holderfield.
