Author has written 2 stories for Sci-Fi.
MetaWar deals with what I think would happen if a small group of average people suddenly gained extraordinary abilities. I believe that most people, if gifted with real power, would use it for selfish or violent purposes. How many would stand up for humanity, 10, maybe. Not only would the odds be against them but think of how we treat our Heros. Sure we love them, until they mess up, until they miss a catch, or just plain old fail at something. Then we tear them down and throw them away. Does sound like something that would make a good story though. MetaWar: Beginnings is the first year of a three year cycle. MetaWar: Changes takes the story into the second year and deeper into danger.
I am well aware that the versions of both my stories are due for some clean-up. Reviews and comments elsewhere have given me what I need to know. What I need now is comments on content. I already plan to add more descriptive detail for the characters (hair colors, eye colors, that sort of thing). I am working on the grammar aspect but my desire to remain true to the character's voices is going to remain more important than the rules.
Chapter One of MetaWar: Beginnings has been updated and now reflects much of what I have learned. The rest of the story will be getting the same treatment.
