Has a black and white cat and a diplomatic sister and an artistic mother and a Joyce scholar father amongst other things.

The Irish equivalent of a... junior? Soon to be senior. I think.

Goes to a small, strange school, and surrounds herself with intelligent, unusual, individual and eccentric friends.

Is in a band, cuz isn't that what teenagers are for? "Ironically" pseudo-intellectual band name of Head VI after a Francis Bacon painting.

Writes, but doesn't necessarily want to post on fictionpress.

Loves Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Samuel Beckett, Jorge Luis Borges, Flann O'Brien, Oscar Wilde, Franz Kafka, Haruki Murakami, Jack Kerouac, Anton Chekov, Lewis Carroll and many, many more...

such as Carlos Ruiz Zafon's Shadow of the Wind (but not the Angel's Gate), and Ender's Game, and Harry Potter, and Narnia, and the Lord of the Rings, and the Quangle Wangle Quee and anything John Green...

Loves films, like Wes Anderson's works, and anything written by Charlie Kaufman, and Ghost World, and Garden State, and Citizen Kane, and the 7th Seal, anything Miyazaki, Disney and Pixar classics, Last Year in Marienbad, and Orphee, and 9 1/2, and Hitchcock, and An American in Paris (along with anything Gene Kelly)... God... pretty much anything.

Even the most atrocious films manage to entertain.

And then music...Well...Along the lines of Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Villagers, Sigur Rós, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, of Montreal, Grizzly Bear, Elliott Smith, The Cure, The Knife Stornoway, Joanna Newsom, Beach House, Animal Collective, Yeasayer, Death Cab for Cutie, Why?, anything Debussy... I could go on and on and on but I'm not going to.

Likes to travel.

Been to: England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Italy, Spain, Monaco, South Africa, Canada, the USA.

Going to: Uganda, Kenya, New York and France this summer.

Considering Art school, to get all illustrator-y so she can produce artwork for her short absurdist/surrealist/magical realist stories.

The Reality of Lies by LoveRehab reviews
She's in love with her best friend. If this were a movie, they'd be dating. Unfortunately, this isn't a movie. The only thing in her life remotely like a movie is the black mail she's receiving. A story about discovering who you are and what you mean to other people. Warning: Contains Sex, Drugs, & Rock n' Roll
