She clears throat nervously and steps up onto platform

"Uh, hello everyone." The young woman glances around, and wipes her suddenly sweaty palms on her faded denim jeans. The massive crowd of potential writers presents a daunting picture to the faux author. Why did she agree to this again? Oh, wait, she didn't agree, she was unnervingly coerced into making a small announcement about her life outside of writing... or so she kept telling herself.

"Great," she mutters to herself.

Taking an excessively deep breath, she stares down at her prepared, quite decidedly lacking one gulp of air, the words flow from her mouth, "Hi, my real name is Sasha. I am finishing my last year of college, and live in Australia. I am particularly found of Georgette Heyer, J.D Robb, J.K Rowling, Nora Roberts, J.R Ward, Lara Adrian, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Stephanie Laurens, Jill Mansell, Andy McDermott, Isabelle Allende and Jane Austen. I've begun a great many novels, but haven't been happy with any of them as yet. Thank you." Short, sweet, simple and to the point.

Without another thought, she jumps down from the podium and slinks into the crowd, waiting for the next amateur writer to announce themselves.
