Salutations to you, oh poor, unfortunate soul who just wandered into my ramblings. Below are a few random nothings to fill my profile and make me seem more interesting.

Currently listening to: Jillian Edwards. Seriously, anything of hers.

Recently read: The Emperor's Edge series by Lindsay Buroker. One word: SICARIUS.

About me: Honestly, I'm much better at editing than actually writing, so... anything I manage to pull from my mangled mind and get onto paper, will most likely never be finished. Because I'm a perfectionist and edit to death whatever I crank out, and am usually still dissatisfied with it in the end.

I'm leaving up the old works I posted back in middle and high school, but I'm kind of hoping that my skill has improved a bit since then, so... you know what they say... Check the date, and, well, if it's expired, don't cry if the milk's turned to Limburger.

And now, if you've read this far and plan to continue, sit back with a cup of coffee, tea, arsenic... and endure or enjoy poking in the revealed recesses of my brain.

ALSO, if you would like to see pictures of characters, or other random writing tidbits, my Pinterest is here: http://www.pinterest.com/caelumellis/

"If I, as a Christian, am wrong about there being a God, then all I've done is live my life by a set of rules out of a Book that has provided nothing but good and benefit for mankind, and when I die, that's all there is. But if you, as a non-Christian, are wrong about there not being a God and you die, are you willing to suffer the consequences?" (Pascal's Wager)

We as individuals are so assuming – we nod at each other, we wave in nonchalance, we part ways and murmur "goodbye" casually, or even add an audacious "see you later". We assume we will see one another again – if not sooner, well, then obviously later. Someday. We never stop to contemplate, even briefly, that someday may never come.
