The name's Kayleen. (Or Lucy. It's whatever.)

I've been writing since... Oh, I'd say fourth grade. And, concerning anything I write, as Yoda would say, "A perfectionist I am." Which is also why I don't post up a story until I've finished it. I know that sucks. Sorry. But I'm simply too notorious for going back to earlier chapters and changing key aspects. I had another pen name on this site about three years ago, but I'll be damned if I can't remember the pen name, or the email to log into it. Sadness. So, if anyone happens to come across an author with a vampire story named, "Silence is Silver", I would very much appreciate being directed to it. Please, and thank you. :)

I read about a book a day, then write a couple chapters of whatever story I'm working on. Favorite authors include... Iris Johansen, Sherrilyn Kenyon, and Karen Marie Moning.

I have a small (read as: huge) fascination with past civilizations and eras, and I have nothing short of adoration for eloquent speaking.

I'm married to the most amazing guy anyone will ever meet in their entire lifetime, and I would be lying if I said I didn't picture each of my male main characters with his cerulean eyes and wavy, blonde hair, no matter what he's supposed to look like in the story. :)

As for me... I'm more stubborn than what's healthy for me. My hair color changes almost weekly. I'm very slow tempered, and I most certainly don't wear my heart on my sleeve anymore. 9.75 times out of 10, when you see me, I'll have an enormous smile on my face, but don't let that fool you, because I'm a lover of twisted, and morbid endings. Tell me I can't do something, and I'll do my very best to prove you wrong, but you couldn't tell by looking at me that I'm as obstinate and willful as I am. I love talking to people, so don't hesitate to message me. :)
