Author has written 3 stories for Romance, Young Adult, and Fantasy. Hello wonderful readers, my name's Saira. Some of my friends like to call me 'Sisi' or more commonly 'you idiot!' followed by rounds of laugher at something insanely stupid that I too often say or do. I'm fifteen, a few months away from my sweet sixteen (girly scream)! I've lived in England all my life, but strangely I've always been told I have an American accent. Apparently I sound like Eminem... Yeah, I wouldn't take my friends too seriously, they also said I got more fair in Dubai. I like Eminem though. Moving on, swiftly, this is not my first time using FictionPress. I have an old account by the name of 'totallyinspired' -- I know, what was I thinking? -- with some stories and poems, and the lonesome single song over there. So check it out if you manage to tear your captivated eyes away from my writing... ahem... here's the link -- http://www.fictionpress.com/u/599671/totallyinspired. Also, check out Hopelessly Cliche; http://www.fictionpress.com/u/600080/Hopelessly_Cliche, one of my friends from school. She's super funny and cool, and writes the best (big cheesy smiles just for you, love) and thank you so much for introducing me to FictionPress. One of my favourite stories that I've read since making this account is 'Untitled' by 'youknoyouluvme'. It's so unique and just amazing. So, a bit about me... I like music, who doesn't? I'm a Bon Jovi fan (whoa living on a prayer!), and I love Nickelback too. I love reading, naturally. My favourite writers are Cecelia Ahern (famous for 'P.S. I Love You'), Trudi Canavan, and Christopher Paolini (famous for 'Eragon'). I have the third book of the Inheritance series too -- for those of you who know what the France I'm on about -- which came out on the 20th of September this year. But I haven't been able to read it as I'm reading 'The Lord of the Rings' at the moment and I really can't bring myself to leave a book unfinished, no matter how boring it is. I mean, everyone knows that books are usually way way better than the films made about them. Like take Eragon for example, the book is amazing but the film -- it's so low budget and it totally butchers the writer's story. The only good thing about that film was that Murtagh was hot. But with 'The Lord of the Rings', the film is so much better than the book honestly. I think J. R. R. Tolkein drags on too much, but hey that's just me. He uses pretty words though. Did you know he went to Oxford University? My brother's going there next month! Speaking (or rather typing) of films, I love love 'Pirates of the Caribbean', Johnny Depp is amazing in that. I also love 'The Shawshank Redemption', it's Oscar winning! And that quote -- some birds aren't meant to be caged, their feathers are just too bright -- amazing! I like the telly series Heroes, who doesn't? Well actually a lot of people don't, but let's not get into that right now. Peter Petrelli's cute. Also, I like The X Factor, Prison Break and America's Next Top Model. Anywhoozles, I think I've told you enough about myself. Let's hear about you. No? Not in a talkative mood? Ah alright. Yeah, I know I'm weird. Well I'll soon be putting some stuffs up here. Like stories. Did I mention I want to become a journalist? Well I do. Anyway, I'll leave you to get back to reading my stories... since that's what you were doing before, right? So in the wonderful words of Arnie, asta la vista! Stories I plan on putting up: This is my (tragic love) story -- Romance, of course. And tragedy, no cookies for figuring that one out. I first started writing it in my little blue notebook so I'll need to type it up before I can put it up on here. I'm reasonably proud of it even though I haven't written much. But most of it just came to me in a moment of inspiration. Don't you just love those? It's got really short chapters though. Written in the first person. Trek to Perdition -- This is fantasy, about magic and the afterlife, and is set in a different land. It's been typed up so far and is quite long. There are parts I like and parts I don't, but I've been told by my friends that it's good. I hope you all think so too! It's more light-hearted than the other stories and so far its about 50,000 words. Written in the third person and switches characters. Eternal Darkness of the Spotted Mind -- Yes, yes, slight theft of the Tom Cruise film title. This is written in my notebook but only the first chapter is done. It's a bit depressing but hey, that's how it's supposed to be! It's different from the other stuff I write so I like it in that sense. It's got short chapters. Written in the third person. Please review people, they make my day! And you will all be greatly rewarded... in Heaven. |
