I suppose you expect me to tell you a bit about myself? Very well, then.

My name, as you may have guessed, is Corbin Halloway. I am fast aproaching my 28th year of age. My current residence is in a lovely town known as Newcastle; more on that topic I shall not say.

I am first and foremost a poet -- my style of choice being lyric poetry -- though I do now and again come up with vignettes. Beyond pen and paper, I dabble in painting and the study of natural sciences... though most of the latter, I admit, comes from observations on long walks through what relatively limited nature can be found in and around my home.

Speaking of home -- I am a man on a journey. Several years ago I was taken from my true home with less consent of my own than is generally considered necessary, and deposited with little ceremony on a ship bound for parts unknown. Though I gained through the experience a best friend who, time and again, has proven himself invaluable to me despite his surly and quiet demeanor, I wait and dream impatiently of the day when I may return to the cradling hills of my grassy homeland and to the embrace of my one true love, Antoinette.

The drawing beside this profile is one of myself drawn by my very good friend, who showed me how to use this uploading system and goes by the pen-name of Mainecoon.
