Author has written 6 stories for Fantasy, Play, and Life. Blah blah blah. So, I've come into the possession of a LiveJournal, http:/// which I think I will be using more than FP simply because it's easier. A lot of the stuff on my LJ will not be on FP because I don't feel like creating new files, especially with a 70,000 word file. So, here's the rundown on my two different worlds and you can decide if you'd like to journey to the LJ to read them. Shadowed Skies The 70,000 word novel, L'raelre: Feral Grace, resides in SS. FG is going to be one of the only pieces from SS that I post anywhere most likely, simply because SS is so big. Bright Bright is the newest baby. The short stories I have here on FP are almost exclusively from Bright. Bright's not even a year old, so it's just an infant compared to SS, which is somewhere along the lines of seven years old. Bright's not as established, therefore there are going to be more inconsistencies. I will be fixing these as I go, never fear. The short stories under Bright are as follows: Because You're Here There are about six short stories in this series at the moment, though I only have the newest one typed fully. I will be typing the others as I go, and this may take a bit. Kick me in the butt if you'd like me to hurry up, but I make no promises. BYH focuses on two pairs of 'mortal gods' and the people around them. The first three stories in this series are heavily relationship based, but the latest ones are more plot-based. Lots of slash, beware. The Clave I dislike the title. It will probably change at some point in time. I have more of these typed up, but a minor technical difficulty has stalled progression on this series for a bit. It's currently on hiatus, but I do believe I will be working on it again in the future. This series focuses on a subpopulation of a people called the Chesti. This subpopulation, the stades, are struggling to maintain their identity when the fate of their people hangs on a royal couple. The royal couple doesn't come in for a while. Kinda complex, gets worse later. Hang on. Hollow This is the newest short story baby, and so far I only have the first fourth or so posted on LJ because I don't want to only post half of the first part. I am actively working on this one, so this is going to be the one you see the most of. Hollow is, oddly enough, influenced a lot by socialism and all the socialistic ideas I've been talking about at school. The socialism thing, though, isn't very obvious if you're worried about overtly political bullcrap. I'm just putting that out there. In Hollow, you have the Ruah, the ruling class that has magick, and the Feruah, the working class that doesn't. Then there's the Bruah, who kidnap the Ruah and steal their magick. Enough of this stealing makes a Ruah a Feruah. See where this is going? So what's a triad consisting of one Ruah and his two Feruah companions going to do in the face of discrimination? Smile and grin, boys, smile and grin. Bright Lights This story is in time out for breaking too many rules and may be on permanent hiatus, I don't know yet. It really depends on whether or not the characters choose to cooperate. Honestly though, if you want to see more of them, you'll have to wait, because I'm focusing way more on Hollow and BYH, as they are cooperating. I'm not putting up a description of BL because the plot itself is being difficult. I hardly know what's going on anymore. So, basically, I'd say, if you wanna read something, hop over to the LJ and start reading Hollow, or jump down here and start reading BYH. If you want to try reading Feral Grace, more power to you, but keep in mind the warning on the LJ site. Much headaches waiting in the wings if you want to attempt the Monster. :) |
