Hello! My name's Fionnuala Collins, and I'm from Ireland. I'm 16 years old and I've decided to try out FictionPress, because I have a lot of one-shots and I need somewhere to put them all. I have a Mibba account, but the only thing is that place is so full of fanfics that original fiction is neglected. So, I'm hoping that I might get a little more feedback here. That's the plan. Whether or not it works is a different story.

So, myself. My name is pronounced "finn+noo+la", for those who are wondering. It's an ancient Irish name, and it means "fair shoulders". My username is just my name in Irish Gaelic. Fionnghúala is how my name is written on my birth certificate, but it's still said the same. I have two middle names: Máirghréad, though I spell it Mairead in everyday situations, which is said "mare+raid" and means "pearl". My other middle name is Saoirse, which is said "sear+sha" and means simply, "freedom". At 16, I've been writing for about twelve years now. I was born in Dublin on the 22nd January, so send me love =D I have a alrge family, seven brothers (Brendan, Eoin, Fearghal, Cillian, Faolan, Tadhg and Padraig) and five sisters (Niamh, Mairead, Caoimhe, Aoife and Aoibheann). Brendan is no longer with us - he was murdered at 17, three years ago, but of course I still count him as my big brother. I come from a long line of Irish heritage. I currently live in Crossmaglen, a little town in Ireland.

I'm currently balancing three A-Levels with constant parties and gigging with my band. I have to balance te work with the hangovers and the gigs with the drunkeness, but somehow I manage. I have the best group of friends in the world, and we all have crazy Irish names. For example, Bronagh, Caoímhbhe, Aoife, Sinéad, Morbheinn, Órlaith, Áine, Dermott, Tadhg, Caolan, Fionnbharr, and of course, my boyfriend of three years, Eamon, who is as crazy as me!

When I have spare time, I write. At the moment, I'm probably going to post my one-shots here, but if I get good feedback, I may move some of my longer stories here. I'm currently working on seven full-length stories, and one-shots pop up all of the time. I write a lot about Ireland, but I've also moved on to lots and lots of other subjects! I hope you enjoy reading them =D
