My name is Rachel; I am a typical 19-year-old American college student majoring in Art and Spanish with an undying love for reading and writing on the side. I tend to become wholeheartedly involved in anything I am reading, which is not limited to published works -- in other words, fictionpress/fanfiction.net is my guilty pleasure. I love all things romance. Some of my favorites are Harry Potter (especially the marauders) and Twilight (Team Jacob forever, although I like Edward too, and I have a strange obsession with Emmett), and I also love anything by Elizabeth Scott, Jane Green, Caprice Crane, and Nicholas Sparks. I would love to start writing again; I've kind of gotten away from it lately. I tend not to often finish things I start, so I have tons of first pages or chapters written and left forgotten. However I'm trying to begin again -- I currently have two stories in the beginning stages which will hopefully someday be completed! A lot of times I really lack the motivation to continue things and so it takes me forever to get chapters out; as a result, I've decided I will not post anything on here until I have something completely finished. So, if anyone is actually reading this, hopefully you will see something of mine posted on here in the future!

I do have one completed story on fanfiction, if you're interested. I feel that it's not my best work as I posted it nearly two years ago, but if you happen to enjoy Life With Derek, it's a decent read.
