Introduction

(July 8, 2012: I haven't written much or posted anything, but I think I will post some things today.)

Hi there =) You can just call me Haruto.

I'm also on deviantart (haruto12), tumblr (haruto12), fanfiction (ae-cha), youtube (chococat8251)

My poems are... my thoughts, my jumbled thoughts, my musings, my school projects, my thinking on paper, me sorting through my thoughts, me.

A little on my morals: as long as you are not hurting anyone else, do what you want. Sing, laugh, dance (and eat tacos; haha spanish class music), speak, worship, write, love, live freely. Don't force your ideas on others. It is all about give and take. Speak your mind but listen to others. Forgive but do not forget. Remember it is not always another person that you need to forgive. Sometimes you will blame yourself for something, but it is okay. Just remember you did what you did. Forgive yourself and move on. Always remember your dreams. Do not let others force you to do anything. Be true to yourself. Remember you are worth it. Do not anyone tell you other wise. Do not wait around for someone who will not wait for you.

I like to read complex poetry. But what I write is pretty straight forward. I try sometimes to make it better, and sometimes it works. "Cry" is my favorite work so far. "Looking Glass" and "Arbitrary" are decent, but I think they could be better. Those are all recent. My older works from two, three, five years ago kinda suck I think. But they are what's gotten me to this point. The show me where I need to improve. Thus, I post some anyway. Certain people I know like to deny the importance of the past- you should only look to the future and not let the past define you. But I know. History repeats itself. The past teaches you life lessons. Past. Present. Future. They all hold equal importance.

Quotes. I collect them. I have many more around, but here's a few.

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

You never stop loving someone. You simply learn to live without them.

We don't need people to be like us. That drives us insane. We just need them to understand who we are, and accept it.

When you have a best friend you never think that anyone could come between you. But then it happens and one of you is happy and the other smiles. But it's an empty smile. They know they've been replaced by something better then them. Inside they want things to go back to the way things where before. But that's a terrible thing to think, your best friend is happy! Why are you being so selfish?

You can always tell something's wrong when the stars begin to lose their shine.

Take the good with the bad. Smile with the sad. Love what I have and remember what I had. Always forgive. But never regret. People change. Things go wrong. I just remember... life goes on.

Sometimes I'm lazy, I get bored. I get scared, I feel ignored. I feel happy, I get silly. I choke on my own words. I make wishes, I have dreams. And I still want to believe anything can happen in this world.

Start living, that's the next thing on my list. -Toby Kieth (My List)

Imperfections create character. Perfections create monsters.

Don't sweat the small stuff. And it's all small stuff.

Nothing is impossible.

Life is a moment, but a picture is forever...

But there's a danger in loving somebody too much, and it's sad when you know it's your heart you can't trust. There's a reason why people don't stay where they are. Baby, sometimes, love just aint enough. -Sometime Love Just Ain't Enough; Patty Smyth

What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but, scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable. -Joseph Addison

The world is beautiful, but has a disease called man. -Friedrich Nietzsche

Love is a complicated thing...

I've been having these weird thoughts lately... like is any of this for real or not?

Life is short but beautiful... Enjoy it

Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning.

Man is a being with free will; therefore, each man is potentially good or evil, and it's up to him and only him (through his reasoning mind) to decide which he wants to be. -Ayn Rand

The word "bed" looks like a bed!

Spill your heart out, and maybe someone will catch it.

How to dance: lose your inhibitions and go.

When nothing goes right, go left.

Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars. Les Brown

Be who you are and say what you feel. Because those who matter don't mind. And those who mind don't matter.

If you have a dream, don't wait. Act.

Stop worrying and take a chance.

If you really love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If not, it wasn't meant to be.

Flying is learning to throw yourself at the ground and miss. Douglas Adams

Spend time, not money.

Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted.

Pick a number between one and two.

Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the worng mental attitude. Thomas Jefferson

Be who you wanna be, not who you wanna be like.

A pizza with a height of a and a radius of z has a volume of pizza.

To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

I went through a mentally difficult time for quite a few months. I'm fine now, but I still wanted to post this, as proof of the past, as proof that I survived, stronger than before, and I'm still here to tell about it. This poem came out of an assignment to choose an object to represent ourselves. I talked about some happy thing, and privately wrote this. Writen: February 23, 20
