Hi, I'm Maika!

I love reading, mostly fiction, and will read almost anything (except Moby Dick, I have no idea how that became a classic), Tamora Pierce, Patricia C. Wrede, the Harry Potter series, if you haven't read that, go out and get a copy from your library before people start pelting you with chalk, The Artemis Fowl series, Agatha Christie, Darren Shan's books, super creepy, and tons of others! Please don't stone me for saying that I can't stand Twilight.

I also read a lot of manga, Eyeshield 21, D. Grayman, Ranma 1/2, Mugen spiral, Kitchen Princess, Beezlebub, Fruits Basket, Skip Beat, addicted to curry, and Bleach.

Almost in contradiction to the fact that I'm one step away from being tone deaf, can barely sing, and can only play a few songs on the piano, I love music. This includes: Andrea Bocelli, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Ellegarden, Moi Dix Mois, Miyavi, the Tokens, the Temptations, Avril Lavigne, Kung-Fu Generation, the Zombies, Utada, the Mamas and the Papas, Pete Seeger, Elvis, and the Monkees.

I like ramen, with a passion, pocky, sweets, the word kumquat, the color green, books, the computer, hot chocolate, writing, bunnies, light comedy, left shoes, hats, drawing, and pudding.

I'm looking for someone to e-mail back and forth with about manga, anime, Japanese culture, or any culture really which I'm interested in, and other stuff, like books, movies, drawing, monkeys, and pudding. Well, maybe not the last two, but you know what I mean. :) If anyone's interested, just leave a review on one of my story's and tell me!
