Corina/Appa - Member of Team Boomerang; the White, Dark and Brown Quidams of Solace du choca-lotte, non comprehende nine Delfin desu

Name: Corina. But I am often nicknamed Appa (there is a story behind that one. It's pronounced more like "Uppa".), Gypsy (you have to sort of hiss it, like it's a insult), Weena, Weenie, Rina, Reenie, Corinamle, Brownies, Nina and Corina my Weena (but only one person calls me that, and I don't encourage her). I recently also acquired the nickname Corona. How clever, right?

Location: Perth, Western Australia

Nationality: Australian... so Australian most members of my family are actually unsure as to where we came from to get here. I think it's England and Scotland, but, as I say, I am unsure.

I am a member of Team Boomerang; the White, Dark and Brown Quidams of Solace du choca-lotte, non-comprehende nine Delfin desu©

"A writer is a person for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people."

Yeah... we'll call that wisdom for now

Writing gives you the illusion of control, and then you realize it's just an illusion, that people are going to bring their own stuff into it.

Things I like:

These include stuff, magic and sometimes things. But mostly pasta.

Movies: The Little Mermaid, Little Women, The Secret Garden, Tristan + Isolde, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter (for the sake of debate, I think the fourth was the best movie on its own, but, compared to the books, the second movie was the best), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (the Audio Commentary is awesome), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (I'm trying to learn to do a Spanish accent now), Australia (Woohoo!! We win at everything!!), Lord of the Rings (The second one was my favourite), Superman 1 & 2, Superman Returns, The Swan Princess,

Books: DragonLance (Particularly "The Soulforge") by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, Twilight (No. Seriously. New Moon was my favourite) by Stephenie Meyer, The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini (Now the Eragon movie... there was a book that got absolutely butchered in its film version; torn to pieces, burned, drowned, spat on, sprayed with acid, burned again, run over by a steam roller and then stamped on.), Tamora Pierce in general (BEST AUTHOR EVER!) Deltora Quest by Emily Rodda, Little Women and Good Wives by L.M. Montgomery and Summers at Castle Auburn by Sharon Shinn, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Harry Potter (The seventh book... "here's a hint: The epilogue sucked!"), Artemis Fowl,

TV shows: Charmed, Doctor Who (The British should be given an award for the percentage of excellent television shows they produce), Avatar: The Last Airbender (This is why we should leave the Anime to the Japanese... but it is good if you ignore that it is essentially American Anime, which just shouldn't exist), Naruto (God! I just want to know how it ends), How I Met Your Mother, Lost (Never have I hated flashbacks as much as I do now... of course I remember what happened four episodes ago! Geez!), The Big Bang Theory (Sheldon is awesome.), The O.C. ("I'm a child in California. I can't go outside (when it's raining). I'll melt."), Full-Metal Alchemist (That was so awesome. I didn't like the ending much, though.), Bleach (and I thought Naruto overdoes it with the fillers, but at least those don't last for as many episodes!), Full-Metal Panic (Hahahahahahahahahahaha, I haven't seen many episodes, but Hahahahahahahahaha), The Vampire Diaries, Bones, Smallville, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel,

Music: Delta Goodrem, Billy Joel, Linkin Park, Wonderwall by Oasis, Hilary Duff, Usher, Shania Twain, Christina Aguilera, the Rogue Traders, Katy Perry, Nickleback, and Mozart. I absolutely love playing Mozart pieces on the flute. I also adore Prokofiev and I was practically raised on Britney Spears.

Things that everyone should do:

Watch Yu-gi-oh! The Abridged Series on Youtube

Get Twitter and follow a whole bunch of politicians.

Read. Lot's.

Play Mariokart. That game is epic.

Learn an instrument or two - "Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy..." Ludwig van Beethovan (He might have been a little biased in making that statement, but it's a nice sentiment.)

Be Happy :) It works for me.

J: You’re going to learn to walk on water.

N: Like Jesus?

J: Yes, Naruto, like Jesus...

N: Gasp! So then, Jesus was a ninja?!

J: Yes, Naruto, Jesus was a ninja...

N: Really?

J: NO! OF COURSE JESUS WASN’T A NINJA!!

... Now, I ask you this: If Jesus wanted to be a ninja, do you think he could have been one?

I like: Pasta. Pasta is the best invention since... actually, I think pasta was probably invented long before anyone had even begun debating sliced bread.

I also like basketball, singing, writing, reading, watching movies, and playing computer games.

I also adore jewellery. I love it.

Corina :)

P.S. I love Lit!
