Welcome to Black-Raven-Kura's Profile.

Some of you may already know me as Lexiconish (previously Black-Sakura27), from

For those of you who don't, I hope you'll enjoy these stories. I will not take kindly to those who choose to steal my ideas. On fanfiction, it's different, because that's based on other pre-written stories. One day, I hope to have these stories published, so I appreciate those who respect my imagination, and allow me to keep my ideas to myself.

"I've been looking for a word. A big, complicated word but so sad. I've found it now."
"What is it?"
"Alive. I'm alive."
"Alive isn't sad..."
"It's sad when it's over." - The Tardis/Idris and The Doctor (Eleventh) in 'The Doctor's Wife'.

Waiting for a mad man with a box

Current Project(s):

“I only mean that I see in you a potential for greater things. Far greater than I think you’ve ever dared to dream. Potential is a wonderful thing… but it isn’t worth a grain of salt if you never try to act upon it. I believe, Colin, that if you tried you would be a better man.”
“You can’t know that.”
“I don’t know it,” she said primly, “but I do believe it.”
Laidback conman and thief Colin James finds himself indebted to a wandering witch, Lorelai, and life for him will never be the same. Lorelai's search for her missing sister becomes far more complicated when it leads to an unpleasant organisation snatching sorcerers from the streets, and they have an unhealthy interest in Lorelai. Colin has never cared for much in life. He's never known anything about 'worthwhile causes'. But as he is unwillingly involved in a dangerous and cruel new life, he may find it impossible to survive without a cause.

"I find myself irrevocably intrigued by you, dear. Do you think it's impossible to be happy married to a necromancer?" That was the heart of it; she was far too content to be married to him - from the beginning it was hopeless to ever think she could keep her promise to hate him wholeheartedly. He was too kind to her. And she was too cowardly to stand firm. She was nothing more than a run-away - she doubted she would ever stop running.
Kana, a blind tribe girl from Iskoola, is tricked into marrying the necromancer Shin Libitina. While the marriage has immediate repercussions - her tribe is once more at war with the enemy - it comes with its own trials and tribulations. From vastly different cultures to super hero attacks to the other extreme; a dark world of murder, torture and secrets weaves around her. The most alarming thing however is that she still feels safer in this deceitful trap than she has ever felt before.

You can now find a colour picture of Shin and Kana (as well as Shin's cat Skull) and Madame Sullivan here: http:///?qh=ion=&q=ShinandKana#/d3j4x2u and http:///?qh=ion=&global=1&q=MadameSullivan#/d3685ke that my friend drew for me, and I coloured.

I am a writer, because I love doing it. I'm useless with a computer apart from using the internet and writing, so that's all I use it for; other than colouring images in Photoshop, but I'm still learning how to do that. Drawing is not my forte; I am too easily frustrated. I'm not a romantic, at least not in the traditional sense of the word - really. I want to be an author, and I'd like to be an actress too. I'd like to live in England - damper weather suits me, my favourite kind being rain. My friends are a cult of evil writers - if you befriend me, it is inevitable you will join them, fair warning.

I love anime. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in that. I have no shame in it either.

I also love ramunae (a kind of drink) honey soy and chicken chips, and chocolate. I frequently burst out in song, all the time, for no apparent reason. It just happens.

I absolutely love Doctor Who, Supernatural, How I Met Your Mother, Life on Mars, Sherlock, Merlin, Glee and Once Upon A Time. I also love SuperWhoLock, and if possible, SuperWhoMerLock. The Avengers are cool, but I'm not as crazy about them as other things.

I adore David Tennant, John Simm, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Neil Patrick Harris, Colin Morgan, Bradley James, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Robert Downey Junior. All my other 'celebrity crushes' are anime characters.

Misha Collins and Chris Colfer in particular inspire me.

Likes: vampires (the classic type, mind you) wizards, bats, cats, wolves, unique-ness... to be honest, I like most fantasy creatures, unless they're like, ogres or gremlins or something... depends on the gremlin actually. I like dark, evil fairies, anime, manga, the shows I've mentioned and more.

Dislikes: smoking, alcohol, needles, balloons (a weird phobia of mine) spiders, and the thought of getting an operation.

Green and black and dark blue are my favourite colours.

I speak some German, and some Japanese.

Silver over gold, night over day, moon over stars. I like the ground over the sky though, so I won't fly away anytime soon. I also like fire, and smoke and mist, because they all have a mysterious, hypnotic beauty about them. I hate sun, it's hot, and sticky, and bright - not that I'm goth or emo or anything, it's just irritating and blinding. Pirates are also awesome. I like history, but not political or Australian history - it's dull and uninteresting. I'd like to live somewhere in Europe (preferably England or somewhere in Britain) or Japan, because I don't like Australia, and am perhaps the most unpatriotic person. I also wouldn't mind living in America.

I have brown hair, grey/pale blue eyes, and skin somewhere in between pale and tanned... average. Maybe it's just purple. My fingernails are long, because I can't stand short nails. Biting insects adore me - I squish them.

My favourite movie is now The King's Speech (2010). I was enraptured and moved. And that never ever happens.

Exterminate, or delete, take your pick, I'm out.

- Kura-chan.

Book(s): The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer
Movie(s): The King's Speech (2010), The Help
Television Show(s): Doctor Who, Merlin, Sherlock, Supernatural, Glee
Musician(s): Nightwish, The Clockwork Quartet, Graveyard Train
Anime(s): Code Geass, Kuroshitsuji, Death Note, Princess Tutu, Cardcaptor Sakura
Character(s): Artemis Fowl II, The Doctor, Lelouch vi Brittania, Wolfram von Bielefeld
Villain(s): Megamind, Artemis Fowl II, The Master, Dr Horrible
Heros or Villains? Villains. They're such fun.
Ambiguously Evil: Lelouch, Sebastian, Ciel, Artemis, Dr Horrible... really, it all depends doesn't it? I like complex human characters; it shows something more natural when the character isn't 100% flawless.
