![]() Author has written 3 stories for Romance, and Action. Hey everyone! I'm surprised you actually look at this. I admit freely that I used to not review people in the past, but now that I have an account I can make up for all my sins. Random Facts About Me: I'm an American teenager, female, and my username means "gift" among my ancestors. I'm valedictorian at my high school and retired from Mu Alpha Theta purely out of spite. I freaking hate cold, snow, sleet, hail, and gales. What can I say, I'm a Florida girl. When no one can hear me, I call Florida the "Gunshine State" and giggle madly. I've never been in love, never had a boyfriend, and never been kissed. My best friend lives several hundred miles and 9 hours away from me. Fave Known Authors: Jane Austen Charlotte Bronte (her sisters sucked.) Edith Wharton Henry James Fave Authors: (coming soon) Fave Authors: (coming soon) What you really want to know--My Writing: I'll try to update regularly, but this a purely recreational and therapeutic account. I'm really stressed out at school right now so I'm gonna try to upchuck my feelings as short stories. For the most part I'm going to stick to dialogue-only stories. I've derived the technique from the great Shakespeare himself who, if you'll notice, gave very little indication besides the most basic stage directions as to the actual environment. One of the things I'll look for most in reviews is commentary at how effective I am at helping you create a picture in your head with a minimal amount of imagery. I might start writing narrative passages later, and I plan to post up the first chapter of a story that's been on hiatus for a few years to see how y'all like it. I tend to shy away from the traditional writing pattern because it would involve me throwing myself full-heartedly into my writing, something I can't afford with graduation looming near. I just joined recently, so my treasure trove is relatively empty, but expect more goodies, my children! Soon to be posted: Fortune's Fool--a 500 word drabble with some social commentary mixed with troubled lovers. Time period inspired by Jane Austen, my hero. Ch 1 of tentatively titled Mars and James--romance, adventure, and some interesting switcheroos! Inspired by random muses. |
