Author has written 2 stories for Young Adult.

Hello! My name is Kristin. My middle name is Shirin; that's where the first part of pen name comes from. The second part was my grandfather last name. When my Uncle was born, the Iranian government told him that Madavey was too common, and he had to change it!

I'm nineteen years old and I'm getting ready to enter my second year of University at UNC. I'm studying Journalism.

A lot of people go into Creative Writing because they like reading literature, but it's not really my thing. I could go on FML and Askreddit for hours. I love hearing people's stories. I can fall in love with anything that makes me laugh.

My plan is to go to Iran and Turkey some time within the next four years, but who knows?

I don't want to be a writer when I go up. I'm not even trying to get any of my stuff published...I just really want to get better because honestly, I like writing more and more when I write something that's close to what I imagine in my mind. I'm here for open minded critiques. :)

Julian's world is blown apart when his best friend Thomas passes and the love of his life, Frances, disappears. With nothing left to lose, he attempts to find Frances only to find himself plunged in a world of video tapes and black magic. This story is old and not very good. This is the revised version of my story for National Writing Month 2010.
