Hi, I'm Acton1842. I live in the south of England.

I'm a big drama nerd. Influences are mainly, Sarah Kane, Brecht, Ben Elton, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Caryl Churchill, Chris Lambert, Antony Mingheller... I reckon my new found obsesion with writng monologues is because I never finish a story.

I haven't updated this for ages and haven't written anything for even longer. It might be worth mentioning that most of the stuff on here is very old. I also might not be writing anything new, not becuase I dont want to but becuase I need to fight for my place at uni. I need to fight hard.

Hey look- an update

Right so exams are over now (mon 28th June 2010). Am currently working on a retelling of the Robin Hood legends that was, in fact, started a year ago. Hopefully updates will be once a week, but right now I cant really tell. x

Friday 10th December- If anyone is interested, I desperately need a beta for a retelling of the Cinderella story. I really want to get something published before my next term at uni (oh yes) if only to prove that I still can

Monday 18th July 2011- working on some new projects. The stuff on here is getting really old and I'm tempted to delete it, but it's so fun to look back and see how my writing has changed :)
