Hey there, J. R. Miles here.

I'm not going to give out my gender or age, just in case that ruins the illusion of the stories I write.

I'm a very artsy person; I dig theatre, singing, dance, guitar, graphic design, filming, and writing (which is a form of art, despite what is taught in school)

I've been interested in writing since fifth grade, but I usually hard difficulties finishing my projects. Hopefully fictionpress will help me overcome this.

My all time favourite author is John Green, though I'm also a fan of the marvelous Ellen Hopkins, Lesley Anne Cowan and Suzanne Collins.

My favourite books happen to be Looking for Alaska and As She Grows. Wonderful, wonderful books.

I like to talk, so send me a message if you'd like, I'll be sure to reply. Also, reviews are darned awesome.

I just want to give full credit to my pally Bwyn for co writing the story "Falling into Oblivion" as Pip's POV. She has ssskkiilllllllzzz. http://www.fictionpress.com/~bwyn

"I've got lots of books inside of me, just waiting to escape" - Ellen Hopkins.

"I'm a character writer. Some people are plot writers, I have to begin with people. I always know my characters, exactly what they look like, their birthdays, what they like for breakfast. It doesn't matter if these things appear in the book. I still have to know." - S.E. Hinton

"Every story of mine contains an element lifted from real life." - Jonathan Friesen
