We are dreamers

We love to live and we live to love

blindly following the wrong or right people out of a pub,

we wish to find our prince charming or at least a happy ending

we wish to find joy in reading every letter that your sending

our hearts live for others, yes optimist we are

we are that one person's true shinning star

we see the glass half full instead of empty

like those lousy apologies he tried to send me

but after all that we dreamers get what we desire

because we manage to stay true in a world of hurt and liars

so you can never change once you start to think like us

totally blind we are to lust

our hearts are pure and made of gold

some people can mantain that even when they grow old

and that are who the true dreamers are

do you know how much it hurts,

to see the person you'd give you life for

that once made your heart soar

tell you he's in love with someone else

and watch him laugh and live and love while you sit by your self?

when she knew you loved him first, it's like she's itching for a smack

but you hold back because despite the pain you know inside

if he's happy your happy even if you do cry.

Are you used to sacraficing your happiness for some one else

to just wither away and grow old by yourself?

To know you passed up something so great

so you cry so much until it's late.

Other's happiness does matter but befor you make that choice

Who matters more theirs or my voice?

Is he worth losing a friend

or is he not worth breaking it until it can't mend
