Author has written 9 stories for Fantasy, General, and General.
Hi, I'm Lauren, aka isthiswalrus. Fish are friends, not food.
Some of my favorite TV shows/movies include Princess Bride, Howl's Moving Castle, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Parent Trap, Jodhaa Akbar (Bollywood, so lots of cheesy musical parts), Sherlock Holmes (w/Jude Law and RD Jr.), Benny and Joon, White Collar, How to Train Your Dragon, and Despicable Me!
Since this is a website where I post stories, you would think I should also mention my favorite novels and authors. But I have way too many to write them all down (JK Rowling, Terry Pratchett, JRR Tolkien, Jane Austen--the list never ends!). Let's just say I love to read. But I can't stand Steinbeck. Or T.S. Eliot.
I love gloomy weather. No, really, I do. No sarcasm. I promise. Really.
I also hope to do a lot of traveling in my lifetime. That would be so awesome!

I haven't been using my fp account in quite some time. I think I'll be switching over to Wattpad if I decide to post any more stories. For now, all I'm doing is starting MORE new stories, getting about two pages in and then stopping. Then, later, I'll go back, write two more pages, and stop again. Fun stuff.
A little bit about my stories:
AmraWell, this is kind of a random story I started a while ago, wrote three chapters, and then stopped. I don't know when I'll get around to posting more of it. Sorry. Right now, I'm writing another story that idk if I'm even going to post on here.
TwelveMy version of the Twelve Dancing Princesses. Told in first-person by the eldest daughter, it's the explanation for what REALLY happened. It has a bit of a different feel from my other stories, I think. But enough about that--go read it! :)
How to Survive a Zombie ApocalypseA pamphlet by Nevva Sirvyve. Inspired by all of those quizzes on facebook that tell you if you will survive a zombie apocalypse. My result was that I would "live long enough to realize the horror of it all before being eaten." Joy. Anyway, it has some useful (and hopefully funny!) steps that help better prepare you for zombie attacks and whatnot.
HiddenPut on hold, since I haven't finished it and it's a little annoying to me to have unfinished stories up. But I've left the prologue, because I kind of like it, and it might inspire me to come back later and work on it. Thank you to all who reviewed.
Candy LandAlso put on hold, for the same reason. And the prologue has also been left up, for the same reason. Thank you to all who reviewed.
