I'm Scottish on my dad's side, and I've felt a deep connection to it for a really long time. I'm Pagan, and this was one of my earlier poems when I was getting more "in tune" to those Celtic roots I have.

2-6-08 written during English class after reading "The Casks of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe. written from words in the side notes and just a picture that I saw in my mind. Had to get it out in writing.

This is a sonnet I had to write for English a couple years ago when we were studying William Shakespeare. We had to have a lesson at some point in the sonnet, and I had forgotten about it, but I got an A for it because I subconsciously wrote one in it.
