Author has written 1 story for Humor, and Humor.

"In fact, (some legitimate psychologist dude) said that (high achievers) are not always the most interesting and they are usually not artistically sensitive. They would also be less likely to value intimacy in a relationship. Studies have shown that high achievers prefer to be associated with experts who will help them achieve, instead of with more friendly people."

(Why can't you use brackets? It looks so terrible to have to use parentheses instead . . .)

That's from my high school psychology book, the title of which escapes me. The point is, I'm not a high achiever. I think that I think like a writer, but I write very, very slowly. I think that I'm best at writing things related to video games (instruction manuals, cutscene dialogue, er . . . etc.), but I've occasionally finished a more traditional story or two. I find it much easier to come up with an idea for a story or video game than to actually finish one, though. (I use the cleverly-named Game Maker program to attempt to create computer games.) I only write fiction; writing realistic stuff bores me, even though I actually enjoy reading/watching/listening to some of it. Although I spend much of my time doing self-analyses, I don't know what more to say about myself. Well, my name is "towel" spelled backwards; this is because the first Internet thing I joined was Father Kojv's Towel Day forum (R.I.P., to the man and the site). So, obviously, I am a big fan of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. As for video games, I suppose I can't deny being a Nintendo fanboy.

I started with a quote, so I'll end with one:

"A writer is someone for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people." --Thomas Mann, Essays of Three Decades
