About My Pen Name: I know it's a stupid pen name, but I like it. It's The Parisian Guanaco, in case you don't know. And I deemed myself this because I love Paris, and I love Guanacos! Everybody knows about the City of Paris, also known as the City of Love or the City of Lights, but not everybody knows what a Guanaco is. What exactly is a Guanaco, then? Well, if you look on the image to your left, there's one! It's basically somewhere in between a Llama and a Camel. But what got me started with Guanacos? If you insist, I'll share my story. It starts back to the fifth grade when we had to do a research project on zoo animals. Somehow, I got stuck with something called a Guanaco. At first I thought it would be some sort of reptile, but then I learned that it was simply an undomesticated Llama! And from that point on, I've been fascinated by how unknown they are by society. Interesting, eh?

About Me: You can call my Paris, though that's not my real name. I just think it sounds better than me being called Guanaco all the time. Anyways, I've grown up with four sisters and one brother, so I know what a hectic lifestyle can be like - trust me there. I try to incorporate my school life and my family life into all my writing, just in case you're interested in knowing that fact. Not that it's very interesting, though.

About My Interests: I love reading and writing like most people on this site, but I also play the violin. It's a beautiful and versatile little instrument - so beats the viola. And I used to play the ukulele, if that tells you anything about me. I don't really swim competitively, but if I were asked what my favorite athletic thing is, that's it. I also like petting my cats and my one dog, if that counts as a hobby. I love traveling - I've been from Paris (explains my pen name) to Hawaii (explains the ukulele). And my favorite thing to listen to is... Disney music! I think it's just some of the best music out there.

About My Stories: I currently have three poems up, one called A Knowledgeable Vase. This one's a picture poem (or whatever it's called), and it's actually kind of weird. Another one is Drowning on Land, and this shows all of the emotional pain I've been through over the past year. Then there's the Maiden in the Courtyard. It's my favorite poem I've ever written - I just think it's so cute. And I think it's my only piece of work I've ever shown to my friends. I hate showing them all of my literary stuff. That especially goes for Super Boy, about a freshman boy who becomes a super human. I hope you check it out, because I'm pretty proud of it, too. And lastly, there's the biographical short story I wrote on a scary trip to Paris called The City of Terrible Tempers. It might not sound scary on paper, but it sure was scary to me.

About Beta Reading: I'm beta reading now! =) Just send me a request - I'm willing to look at all types of stories/poems.
